After graduation from the University, Dr. Doo worked in various paediatric units in Hong Kong and received training as a clinical fellow in the Division of Child Neurology of the Hospital for the Sick Children, University of Toronto. Experience of 10 years working in the Child Assessment Service of Department of Health helped her in building a strong foundation in Developmental Behavioural Paediatrics. In 2012, Dr Doo helped setting up and being the in-charge of the Child Development and Assessment Centre of St Paul’s Hospital. She is also appointed as Honorary Assistant Professor of Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, University of Hong Kong. She started her private practice and set up the Dr. Doo Child Development and Assessment Centre in 2013 which provides interdisciplinary assessment and intervention for children and families in need.
Dr Doo has a keen interest on parent education especially in promoting awareness of common developmental problems and supporting these children positively. She is an accreditated provider of Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) (Level 3 & 4).
