Qualification of Members |
|
| Members of the Association shall be divided into the following categories, namely Honorary Member, Life Member, Full Member, Associate Member, and Student Member. |

| |
Full Membership |
|
| A person who holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Audiology before 1st July 1997 or who is a graduate in a Master Degree in Audiology shall be eligible as a Full member. |
|
|
| |

| |
Life Membership |
|
| A Full member shall become a Life Member if he/she: |
a. |
i) is a one of the signatories to the Memorandum of Association and these Articles; and |
|
ii) agrees to pay 10 times the annual membership fee
Or
|
b. |
i) has been a Full Member for 5 consecutive years or more; |
|
ii) served or has served in the Executive Committee for 2 or more consecutive terms of office (i.e. for a total of 4 or more years); |
|
iii) is recommended by 2 Life Members to become a Life Member, and |
|
iv) agrees to pay 10 times the annual membership fee |

Associate Membership |
|
A person who is working in related fields and show genuine interest in the promotion and development of Audiology, education, hearing and speech sciences is eligible to become an Associate Member. |

| |
Student Membership |
|
| A person who is studying for Audiology or related professionals is eligible to become a Student Member. |
| |
 |
| |
| Members of the Society are welcome to attend conferences, courses, discussion forums, special interest groups and social activities organized by the Society. Members will also receive electronic publications and information which keeps members in touch with current views and events that affecting the profession. |
